Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a woody vine found in the tropical jungles of South and Central America. It’s originally found in Peru, and has been used back to the Inca civilization for more than 2,000 years.
It’s a very powerful herb that contains many types of plant chemicals that help reduce inflammation, such as tannins and sterols, and it also helps to fight viruses, such as quinovic acid glycosides. It’s active chemical can stimulate the immune system, kill cancer cells.
Cat’s claw also helps with the treatment of fever, fatigue, muscle and joint aches and the symptoms of chronic inflammatory conditions.
