Rooibos “Aspalathus linearis” is a native to South Africa. It’s grown in the mountainous Cederberg region of South Africa in the Western Cape province. Rooibos tea is also known as red bush tea and African red teais an herbal tea made using the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis plant. Rooibos means “red bush” in Afrikaans and references the rich, deep crimson of rooibos tea.
